Robins have thoroughly enjoyed their first full week in school and have enjoyed using the natural loose parts to create transient artwork inspired by Andy Goldsworthy. They also had fun exploring the ‘S’ sound in many forms such as foam and collage. Mrs T took them on a phonics hunt to see what they could find. I wonder if they can tell you what they saw?
Larks used their outdoor learning area this week for some marvelous maths work and also phonics. They really are super spellers in that class. How many ‘wh’ words can they remember?
Swifts have also enjoyed celebrating International Day of Literacy by creating their favourite book covers and discussing in class why we should buy their favourite book for our new class story/ novel. Some very persuasive thoughts!!
Skillful artists here in Owls. They used a range of media to explore the proportions of the human form. Impressive Owls- well done.
