Wrens and Robins are having fun with Big Dave and Pickle… they are very kind elves as well as very mischievous elves!! Look what they brought today for our Wrens and Robins. Our travelling crib is proving to be a real success too. We have some beautiful pictures from parents- thankyou, and more importantly our Reception children can all confidently retell their own version f the Nativity story and can explain the true meaning of Christmas. Wonderful- thank you for your support and cooperation parents.

Larks are working hard in their RE to retell the Christmas story and the true meaning behind Christmas in many forms including small world, role play and writing. I wonder if they can talk about the difference between ‘presents’ and ‘presence?’ They are very busy too with their Advent preparations in and around school. Well done Larks.

Another busy week for Swifts class. They thoroughly enjoyed their  visit to Bright Woods linking to their Stone Age topic. Fantastic work and wonderful to hear how beautifully behaved the children were too. Well done Swifts.

Owls have another busy week too. The Christmas party was full of festive fun- so lovely to see and hear!

Exploring dissolving in science – they learned you can’t use filtering to separate dissolved solids from water. They  then had a science treasure hunt in the school grounds, answering questions about changing materials.

Owls are also in the process of making their own Bayeux Tapestry…
